Monthly Precept or Quote

Have you read the book Wonder by RJ Palacio? No? Well stop everything and go get the book! It is an amazing book on acceptance, overcoming difficulties, and life lessons. Part of the book focuses on Monthly Precepts. They are all good, but the one that stands out is:

When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind.

I am going to try to live by this quote this month. And in turn reinforce it with my boys. I think we all need a lesson in kindness.
